viewing: all installations will be exclusively viewable from the street, creating a 24/7 open-gallery that you can view at any time

voting: you can start casting your online ballots July 15th and they must be in by October 27th

location: Wicker Park & Bucktown are two neighborhoods located northwest of Chicago’s Loop. They encompass a vibrant yet varied mixed use of urban area home to a diverse group of people and a rare combination of nightlife, culture, family, and art. This part of the city is characterized by an independent spirit, artistic self-expression, and a community that is both progressive and collaborative.

Installations will be located throughout Wicker Park Bucktown and can be found on the downloadable map.

Wicker Park Bucktown Special Service Area (SSA) #33 Wicker Park Bucktown Special Service Area (SSA) #33, WPB, initiated the 'Make Believe' project along with its Promote the Arts Committee. WPB exists to sustain and promote the prosperity & unique qualities of life of the Wicker Park & Bucktown neighborhoods and commercial districts, while preserving the area’s diverse character for the benefit of its residents, visitors, & businesses. WPB’s Promote the Arts Committee was established to support the arts community and honor the history of the neighborhoods by providing opportunities for artists to innovate and thrive.

Firebelly Design and Pivotal Production, Chicago-based branding and experiential marketing companies (respectively), partnered with WPB to create and produce 'Make Believe.'
